MOOCs and Libraries


Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) were a much talked about topic over the past year with a number of universities partnering with private platforms such as Coursera or Udacity to offer these course content on . . well a massive scale. MOOCs pose problems from a copyright perspective – some of these issues are discussed in a panel discussion that includes among others Dr. Kenny Crews and Kevin Smith that was held  the OCLC Research event on MOOCS and Libraries.
